Job Summary:

We are seeking a responsible and dedicated School Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe and timely transportation of students to and from school, demonstrating a commitment to their well-being and maintaining a high level of safety standards. A valid Class 3, 5, and 6 driver’s license is a requirement for this position.

Responsibilities:

· Safely transport students to and from school, following assigned routes and schedules.

· Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in proper working condition.

· Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation.

· Maintain a clean and orderly interior of the bus.

· Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff in a professional and courteous manner.

· Ensure the well-being and safety of students during transit, enforcing appropriate behavior.

· Respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents that may arise during transportation.

· Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate authorities.

· Attend training sessions and meetings as required to stay updated on safety protocols and regulations.

· Demonstrate a strong commitment to the safety and security of all passengers.

Qualifications:

· Valid Class 3, 5, and 6 driver’s licenses.

· Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.

· Previous experience as a school bus driver or in a similar role is preferred.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.

· Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.

· Physical ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, as well as assist students in boarding and exiting the bus.
